Depth: 15-60
Camp 1 is one of the most interesting dive sites we have, as far as topography is concerned. Many undercut ledges, crevices, arches, and pass-throughs make this a very “explorable” site. The problem with this site is that it’s located very near shore which causes it to have more surge than other sites we dive. It is also in an area that tends to have lower visibility. Because of these factors, we don’t scuba dive too frequently at Camp 1. When the conditions are right, though, this site moves right to the top of our list of Kauai scuba diving sites.
